Breaking: canonical MAC arguments
The remaining 18 single-target MAC arguments now use mac_address. Calls using the previous mac, device_mac, or client_mac names must be updated; no alias period is provided. Role-specific arguments such as ap_mac retain their names. See the migration guide for the tool-by-tool mapping. Some mutation preview keys also change to mac_address; existing result payload fields retain their documented names.

- Correct port-forward protocol defaults and source/destination translation.
- Recover event API version detection after transient failures.
- Look up a tool by exact name without loading the entire tool catalog.
- Pin a wireless client to an access point with preview and verified persistence.
- Bound, search, and project voucher results; project device fields.
- Create content filters and author full schedules.
- Read and update typed mDNS service settings with effective-state validation.
- Read typed IPS/DPI settings without disclosing controller-only tokens.
- Read, create, update, explicitly enable/disable, and delete supported V2 NAT rules. Creates default to disabled; verified writes require manual, non-predefined origin. SNAT translated ports require a source port.
Live checks establish configuration persistence and cleanup on the tested controller, not packet-level source restriction, DNS redirection, content blocking, or mDNS discovery enforcement.
- Keep MAC values and raw controller exceptions out of diagnostics. Requires Core >=0.4.59 and Shared >=0.6.23.
