- New look: a new Lokal logo everywhere: app and installer icons, taskbar, Dock, tray, sidebar and the release banners.
- Logo in your colours: the logo's sticker takes your theme's accent colour, in the sidebar and, while Lokal is running, in the taskbar or Dock and the tray icon.
- Keyboard shortcuts: Space to play or pause, Ctrl/⌘ + ← / → for previous and next, Shift + ← / → to skip back or forward 10 seconds, Ctrl/⌘ + ↑ / ↓ for volume, Ctrl/⌘ + S for shuffle, Ctrl/⌘ + L for lyrics, Ctrl/⌘ + F for the full-screen player and Ctrl/⌘ + , for Settings. The full list is in Settings → About.
- New visualizer: the side panel's Visualization is now a sphere of dots that folds with the music. It stays calm in quiet parts, crumples with the bass and jumps on every beat, sitting right on the panel's background. It's light on resources and pauses when you can't see it.
🔧 Improved
- Simpler Artist Names: turning it on or off now updates the artist names of songs already in your library at the next scan. Artist names you edited by hand are kept.
- Addons: when saved addon logins can't be read, Lokal explains why and offers a "Reset saved logins" button.
🐛 Fixed
- macOS downloads: yt-dlp, ffmpeg and ffprobe now download and install correctly on Apple silicon and Intel Macs, so downloads and SpotiFLAC addons work there.
- yt-dlp update window: it no longer pops up while you download yt-dlp from Settings, no longer gets stuck at 100% or offers the same update over and over, and its buttons always respond.
- Addons settings: addons from an earlier version no longer leave the Addons page loading forever.
- Addon access on macOS: "Verify access" works again, and an app update no longer locks you out of your addons.
