  Details

  Summary

  • macOS: yt-dlp's first run is slow (unpacks, gets scanned), so the 10 s version check timed out and the update window offered the update forever. The check now waits up to 60 s on macOS. After installing, yt-dlp is run once, and the install fails with a clear message if it won't start.
  • The update window shows an error instead of offering the update again when the installed version can't be read.
  • Addons: a SpotiFLAC package whose saved settings can't be decrypted (for example the OS credential vault key changed) no longer breaks the whole addon list. It shows with its default settings, and one broken package no longer hides the others or the HTTP addons.

  Testing

  • Added a test that a package with undecryptable saved settings still lists. It fails without the fix and passes with it.
  • Vite build passes.
  • Not tested on a Mac, so the yt-dlp loop fix is based on reading the code, not on running it.
  • scripts/spotiflac-packages.test.mjs has one other failing test (the package download one) that also fails without this change.
