ScriptPlayer+ 0.6.2-rc.2
This Windows x64 prerelease follows up on reports that videos stored on some slow HDDs can take 10–20 seconds to start or make the app appear frozen. The delay is not yet confirmed to be completely fixed; this build adds the measurements needed to identify the exact slow stage on affected systems.
If you do not experience slow HDD startup, hangs, or missing hover thumbnails, you do not need to install this test build.
Changes from rc.1
- Fixes hover thumbnails remaining unavailable after a same-storage preview request was temporarily blocked during playback startup.
- Prevents stale hover-preview results from replacing the current preview and retries temporary misses later.
- Uses metadata-first loading for library thumbnail capture to reduce unnecessary background reads.
- Records media opening from the foreground I/O gate through metadata, canplay, playback, first frame, and post-ready work.
- Includes cancelled thumbnail, duration-probe, and embedded FFmpeg work counts in the copied issue report.
- Redacts local, UNC, and common macOS/Linux paths from copied playback diagnostics and preserves the HDD timing lines when the report is long.
- Corrects semantic-version ordering so this build can recognize the later stable v0.6.2 release.
Test instructions
- Restart the app and open the affected HDD video once.
- After playback starts, use
Device → Diagnostics → Copy Issue Report. - Open another video, then reopen the same HDD video and copy the report again.
- Send both reports together. File paths and NAS addresses are redacted automatically.
Test build boundary
- Windows x64 ZIP only. No Setup EXE is published for this prerelease.
- rc.1 does not automatically update to rc.2. Download the ZIP manually, extract it into a new folder, and run it from there.
- Keep the existing stable installation or rc.1 folder until testing is complete.
일부 느린 HDD에 저장된 영상을 불러올 때 10~20초 이상 걸리거나 프로그램이 멈춘 것처럼 보이는 현상을 추가로 확인하기 위한 Windows x64 프리릴리스입니다. 아직 HDD 로딩 지연이 완전히 해결됐다고 확정된 버전은 아니며, 영향을 받는 환경에서 정확히 어느 단계가 느린지 확인할 수 있도록 측정 기능을 추가했습니다.
느린 HDD 재생 지연·멈춤 또는 hover 썸네일 문제를 겪지 않는 사용자는 이 테스트 버전을 설치할 필요가 없습니다.
rc.1 이후 변경 사항
- 재생 준비 중 일시적으로 차단된 hover 썸네일 요청이 이후에도 계속 표시되지 않던 문제를 수정했습니다.
- 오래된 hover 응답이 현재 미리보기를 덮지 못하게 하고, 일시적인 실패는 다음 hover에서 다시 시도합니다.
- 라이브러리 썸네일 캡처를 메타데이터 우선 로딩으로 변경해 불필요한 백그라운드 읽기를 줄였습니다.
- 영상 열기 과정을 재생 I/O 준비부터 메타데이터, canplay, 재생, 첫 프레임, 후처리 완료까지 단계별로 기록합니다.
- 취소된 썸네일·재생시간 검사·임베디드 FFmpeg 작업 수를 복사되는 문제 보고서에 포함합니다.
- 복사 진단에서 로컬·UNC·일반적인 macOS/Linux 경로를 가리고, 보고서가 길어도 HDD 판단에 필요한 시간 정보가 잘리지 않도록 수정했습니다.
- 이후 정식 v0.6.2를 정상적인 상위 버전으로 인식하도록 버전 비교를 수정했습니다.
테스트 방법
- 앱을 다시 실행한 뒤 문제가 있던 HDD 영상을 처음 열어 주세요.
- 재생이 시작되면
Device → Diagnostics → Copy Issue Report를 눌러 주세요. - 다른 영상을 열었다가 같은 HDD 영상을 다시 열고 보고서를 한 번 더 복사해 주세요.
- 첫 번째와 두 번째 보고서를 함께 보내 주세요. 파일 경로와 NAS 주소는 자동으로 가려집니다.
테스트 버전 안내
- Windows x64 ZIP만 제공합니다. 이번 프리릴리스에는 Setup EXE가 없습니다.
- rc.1에서는 rc.2가 자동 업데이트되지 않습니다. ZIP을 직접 받아 새 폴더에 압축 해제한 뒤 실행해 주세요.
- 테스트가 끝날 때까지 기존 안정 버전 설치와 rc.1 폴더는 유지해 주세요.
