v17.8.0 "OpenCode #126 Catalog Expansion and Jev Judgment Routing"

4 hours ago

[17.8.0] - 2026-09-20 - "OpenCode #126 Catalog Expansion and Jev Judgment Routing"

Imports 264 reviewed skills from opencode-skills-collection #126 across DevSec,
BugHunter, and starter bundles, plus jev-use for batched judgment-model
routing through MCP.

A maintenance release for Claude Code, Cursor, Codex CLI and Gemini CLI.
It merges the FrancoStino opencode-skills-collection #126 batch (#1512#1517)
and the community jev-use skill (#1511), refreshes catalog and plugin surfaces
for 2,406 skills, and converges canonical indexes through the protected bot
lane. Existing installation interfaces remain supported.

Added

  • OpenCode #126 batch (264 skills, #1512#1517) — docs-only DevSec compliance,
    DevOps, infrastructure, and security skills; gated BugHunter assessment workflows;
    and starter bundles (productivity, career-ops, geo/SEO, and related collections)
    sourced from the MIT-licensed opencode-skills-collection #126 import, with
    maintainer repairs for policy, provenance, and documentation-security gates.
  • jev-use (#1511) — routes enumerable no-text judgment steps (success checks,
    option picks, risk gates) to the Jev judgment model through jev_judge and
    jev_gate MCP tools, with explicit escalation back to the orchestrator for
    steps that require generated text or non-enumerable choices.

Improved

  • Refreshed canonical indexes, catalogs, plugin mirrors, editorial bundles, and
    web assets for the 2,406-skill release.

Validation scope

PRs #1512#1517 and #1511 passed maintainer attestation on their exact merge
heads, repository validation, reference and documentation-security checks,
protected CI, CodeQL, dependency review, and canonical synchronization.
Tessl was unavailable for several heads; maintainer semantic review covered
every changed canonical skill subtree.

Thanks to @FrancoStino (#1512#1517) for the opencode-skills-collection #126
import and to @shitianfang (#1511) for jev-use.
