[15.0.0-rc.3] - 2026-07-18 - "AAS Core Onboarding Candidate"

Supersedes 15.0.0-rc.2 after real Codex validation exposed three onboarding defects. This candidate remains on npm's next channel until the complete fresh-client flow passes without workarounds.

Fixed

• Allowed the official runtime bootstrap to create a private AAS cache under a normal real user configuration directory without requiring the parent directory itself to be private.
• Published exact nested MCP input schemas for recommendation profiles, targets, policy, and stack manifests, and aligned projectType with the Core recommendation contract.
• Directed MCP clients to validate every proposed aas-stack.json with inspect_stack before handing it to the CLI, preventing malformed manifest contracts from reaching stack validate.

Validation

• 15.0.0-rc.2 proved real Codex discovery and invocation of search_skills, get_skill, and recommend_stack, but stable promotion was stopped because bootstrap required a cache workaround and the agent-proposed manifest failed CLI validation.
• Stable 15.0.0 remains gated on repeating the full fresh-client flow with the packaged 15.0.0-rc.3 runtime and packaged CLI, ending in successful manifest validation and read-only plan preview.
