Sefirah v1.0.3

latest release: v1.0.4

Changes

  • Add support for devices outside of the local network
  • Directly broadcast UDP packets to the last connected device (fixes the problem of auto discovery not working on some setups)
  • Update network ports used
  • Added an option to use scrcpy directly

Changes in the Android App

Scrcpy

To set this up, download and extract scrcpy to your preferred location and set that as the location of scrcpy in the Features page in the App settings, there you can also edit your preferences for scrcpy. And after setting that you can just click on the icon next to the ringer mode (I couldn't find a good place for this yet lol, will change it's position later), and it will pop up a dialog box for you to enter arguments or leave it empty as that will just launch the executable as is. You can also launch the app through notifications via the overflow button, and then scrcpy will launch the app in a virtual display.

The requirement for working with this is that you need to connect the device through adb, and do note that adb uses tcp/ip without any encryption over wireless. Check scrcpy repo for any questions. This is just an alternative for now to have screen mirroring.
