DiAuto 0.3.12 — Dashboard map, HUD and connection fixes

DiAuto can now show Android Auto's map on the BYD instrument cluster, with DiPlay's
turn card, and fixes the windshield HUD and several connection problems.

Dashboard map (off by default)

• Google Maps or Waze draws its own map for the instrument cluster, and DiAuto shows it on
  the BYD dashboard (#44, by 07x01313480). Turn it on under Settings → Navigation →
  Android Auto map on the dashboard.
• DiPlay's turn card (glyphs, distance, street and arrival time) on top of the map.
• On the Han L and other measured DiLink 5.1 firmware, the map follows the cluster theme
  by itself, as in DiPlay: the full map in the Map theme, and in Scenario and Simple only
  while the mini map card is open. Switching themes while driving needs no reconnect.
  This needs Usage access for DiAuto; Settings offers the grant, and without it the map
  shows on every cluster card.
• Google Maps may switch the car screen to its Overview view while the dashboard map is
  on. Switch it back to Perspective in Google Maps.

HUD and navigation

• Windshield HUD arrows appear as soon as a route starts and stay on. BYD's own map
  turned them off when the cluster display appeared or the navi mode changed (#41).
• Numbered roundabouts show their exit on the HUD and the turn card, with a new
  "traffic keeps left" setting for the direction (#26, by JuanGaVS).
• DiLink 3.0: HUD and cluster guidance, and a long press on the steering-wheel voice
  button opens the phone's assistant (#25, #27, by JuanGaVS).

Connection

• Reconnecting during a route no longer ends in "Connection lost" (#42).
• Fixed a reconnect loop when the phone was still on the car's Wi-Fi from the previous
  connection (#45).
• Exiting Android Auto from the phone no longer reconnects by itself, and a phone removed
  from auto-start is not added back (#35).
• Wi-Fi Direct: a working 5 GHz group on Android 10, and no repeated 5 GHz attempts after
  a definite failure (#22, #24, by JuanGaVS).
• Wireless stays off when Wi-Fi is left out of the connection types (#39, by 07x01313480).

Display and other

• Hiding the status bar or toolbar no longer drops the picture to 800x480 (#19).
• Head units without a verified HEVC decoder get 1080p instead of a 1440p stream they
  cannot show (#35, #6).
• Diagnostic reports include exception details, network interfaces and a read-only BYD
  interface inventory (#23, #29, #30, by JuanGaVS).
• Improved Arabic wording (#36, by AlaaKanaan).

Installation

Install DiAuto-v0.3.12.apk on the car, over the previous public DiAuto release
to retain settings. The production package and signing key are unchanged. HUD Test
builds use a separate app package.

Validation

684 unit tests and core translation checks passed. Debug and optimized release
builds passed; the production package, version, non-debuggable status and signing
continuity were verified. The owner tested release candidates of this source on a Han L
(DiLink 5.1): wireless connection, HUD arrows, and the dashboard map in the Map,
Scenario and Simple themes, including switching themes while connected. The
optimized production APK, built clean from the tagged commit, has not had a separate
physical-car test.

This project supports BYD cars. Other head units and firmware are not verified.
The source archive and SHA-256 checksums are attached.
