Session
Session uses the Session encryption protocol and the Oxen blockchain’s decentralised Service Node network to provide anonymous, end-to-end encrypted messaging without relying on central servers.

- Rewrote the composition box and mention selection (#1453)
- Added expandable “Read more” message bubbles (#1469)
- Standardized modals across the app (#1483, #1497)
- Replaced icons with their Lucide equivalents where possible (#1463)
- Reduced zoom step size for more accurate zooming (#1473)
Bug Fixes
- Fixed user mentions in communities and reactions (#1468)
- Fixed a bug preventing moderators from using their permissions (#1485)
- Deleting a contact now creates a message request for new messages (#1479)
- Disabled seeking when right-clicking the audio progress bar (#1471)
- Minor styling fixes (#1494, #1514)
Supported Platforms
Session requires Windows 10 or later, macOS Ventura (13) or later, or a Linux distribution with glibc 2.35 or later like Debian 12 or Ubuntu 22.04.
