This is mainly a performance/bugfixes update.
The underlying minisearch engine has been updated, and the cache system has been rewritten (again) to take advantage of performance improvements. Overall, indexing and cache reading/writing should take less time, and cause shorter freezes for larger vaults (1000+ notes & PDFs). Memory consumption should also be reduced.
As Omnisearch is getting more popular, I'm also having more reports of mobile crashes for users with large vaults. I'm sorry if it's happening to you, and while there's only so much I can do due to dependency constraints, rest assured that I'm doing my best to keep memory usage as low as possible.
- FIXED #138 - PDFs and OCR were switching off for Sync users
- FIXED #131 - Korean search matches were not correctly highlighted
- CHANGED #132 - PDFs are now disabled on mobile.
- CHANGED #103 - Search matches are now highlighted (instead of just bold) by default. Can be switched off.
- CHANGED #2 #127 - Ignored files can now be hidden. By default, they're just downranked.
- REGRESSION - Due to the new caching system, non-existing notes are no longer indexed. May be added back in a future update.
