DUB-1 1.1.0 makes the FM-1 more playable: PERFORM gets solos and a real Drop, Open and Shut you can hear, and the pings can stay as you leave them.

New in 1.1.0
- PERFORM, reworked (SEL). Three sets of keys with a dark key between them, and every key that does something lit:
- white 1–5 mute the chord, pings, bass, kick and hats;
- black 1–5, above them, solo them (more than one at once; their echoes ring out; SOLO shows on the screen);
- white 7–11, held: Throw, Open, Shut, Drop, Echo.
- Hold SEL for the key map.
- Drop (white 10): the kick and the bass out while held, back on release: the floor falls away. (It was Kick drop, which did the same as the kick's mute.)
- Open and Shut you can hear. Shut sweeps the whole music under a low-pass while the kick keeps pumping; Open thins it with a resonant high-pass and opens the chords' filter three octaves. Both sweep in over about half a second.
- Pings that stay. At Evolve 0 the ping loops keep their notes, pass after pass; they only change when you change Density. SAVE keeps each piece's pings, so the melody comes back after a reboot or a trip to another piece.
- Feedback shows what it does: 45% to 112%, the loop's real gain (past 100%, the soft clip holds the echo as it swells).
- The screen: the chord's name bigger, on a dark backing so the rings pass behind it (readable in dub hold too). On the Setup page the battery's charge sits in the header next to its icon, and the leftover raw battery reading is gone; nothing in the header shifts as the CPU figure changes.
Upgrading
Your saved pieces from 1.0.0 are kept. Their pings are grown afresh once, then kept from your next SAVE. Note that the PERFORM moves moved up one key (they were white 6–10).
Installing
Use the web installer above, or download dub-1.1.0.fwsc below and run python3 tools/fm1_install.py dub-1.1.0.fwsc from a checkout of the source. To go back, the installer's "Back to the stock firmware", or M-VAVE's M-UPGRADE. Installing other firmware is at your own risk; an FM-1 that fails to start twice comes up in a safe mode the installer can reach.
