What's new
- Install straight from your
.isoon PC. The first launch now accepts the disc image of your own copy: pick your Gears of War 2.iso(ordefault.xexin a folder you already extracted) and the port extracts it once into agamefolder next togow2.exe, with a progress window you can cancel. It needs about 8 GB free on that drive; afterwards you can delete the.isoif you want.--game_data_rootalso takes the.iso, and a second launch reuses the extracted folder. Android has done this since 0.2.6. - Choose Path: the mouse buttons now do what the prompt shows (#29, thanks @TruePCgamer). The game's own Skip Training / Train screen took the left mouse button as the left choice, while the default bindings put aim (left trigger) on the right mouse button, which is what the prompt draws. The two mouse buttons now reach the game named after the trigger they're bound to, so the prompt and the click match. If you bound them the other way round yourself, nothing changes.
- Quit game button (#28, thanks @TruePCgamer). With the mouse, every page of PC Options (F10, or Back + Start) has a Quit game button in its footer; System → Quit the game was already there.
Android: the Device Options footer gets the same Quit game button; nothing else changes.
