What's new
- Native renderer that draws from the game's Direct3D calls (on by default on PC). Indexed draws, about 90 % of every frame, now reach the GPU straight from the game's Direct3D device: their render state, shader constants and shaders are taken from the game's own Direct3D state at each draw instead of being replayed from the emulated console GPU's command stream. On PC about 8,700 emulated GPU commands a frame are no longer executed. Every draw was checked against the emulated path register by register (0 differences) and the picture is the same.
- Still on the emulated command path: non-indexed draws that the game sends through command-buffer segments, and Clear's rectangle draws (about 10 % of draws). They move next.
- Graphics → Draw source: Automatic (default), Direct3D calls (native) or Console commands. Automatic picks Direct3D on PC; on Android it stays on console commands until it is checked on phones, and you can pick Direct3D yourself.
- Graphics → Renderer (from 0.3.2) still chooses native or emulated render targets and resolves for any GPU.
