ReStreet 2.1.2 — Online beta
Tournaments, fixed after the first ReStreet Launch Cup.
Tournaments
- Next rounds start by themselves: a match room that vanished before both games reached the lobby (a server restart, a launcher that left) is made again, and a restart no longer loses the tournament's results.
- No more walkovers while you play: the server now sees that you are ready as soon as your launcher has the match room.
- A game that crashes at kick-off decides nothing: a 0-0 report without a single shot no longer counts; the real match does.
- Real teams only in tournaments (clubs and national teams), so nobody faces a levelled-up World Tour team.
- The Competitive page shows how many players checked in, and tells you Check in now when you signed up but have not checked in yet.
- Ranked and tournament rooms no longer show in the Matches list, and you cannot join the ranked queue while a match is waiting for you.
Game
- Fixed a crash in World Tour (finishing your team, changing kits) and online: the game closed with "Call to invalid or unregistered function at guest address 0x82860BB8". It was the most common crash in the logs you sent.
Launcher
- If the game crashes in its first minutes with Vulkan, the launcher offers to switch to Direct3D 12 (Vulkan crashes on some AMD graphics, D3D12 works).
- The direct-play shortcut now offers updates too, and a launcher left open checks for a new version every 2 hours.
- If your Documents folder is in OneDrive, the launcher warns you once: OneDrive can roll back your saves and make you lose your World Tour career.
- Mac (CrossOver): the launcher page opens in your Mac's browser instead of a blank window.
Good to know
- Update from the launcher (close it and open it again) or run ReStreet-2.1.2-Setup.exe over your ReStreet folder. Your names, keys and saves are kept.
