Fixed
- Snippet completion menu not appearing on line 1 — the autocompletion popup did not show when typing snippet triggers on the first line of a newly created note in Live Preview. Root cause: CM6's tooltip layer never completed its measure/write pass when the editor was freshly mounted (e.g., opening a new file) — the tooltip DOM element was created but stayed at the pre-measurement sentinel position (
top: -10000px). The bundled autocomplete fork's tooltip, provided via the sharedshowTooltipfacet, was not repositioned because the tooltip layer's initial geometry measurement was skipped during the editor mount/layout settling phase. Additionally, a standalonetooltips({ parent: document.body })extension conflicted with Obsidian's own tooltip configuration. Fixed by: (1) removing the redundanthasFocusguard in the completion source, (2) removing the conflictingtooltips({ parent: document.body })extension, and (3) adding a MutationObserver-based ViewPlugin that detects stuck tooltips at-10000pxand force-positions them usingcoordsAtPos. Tests
- 1 new e2e spec file
test/specs/snippets/snippet-completion-menu.e2e.ts— creates a new file viaapp.vault.create(), opens it in Live Preview, types a snippet prefix on line 1, and verifies the completion menu is visually positioned on screen (not stuck at-10000px). (#151)
