New
- A breaking change was introduced in RetroArch 2.0.0 support where games live in new folders, named after each system (
content/Nintendo - Game Boy Advance). New RomM game downloads go there, and RommPS offers to move the games already in the old folders. Saves and states stay where they are. - RetroArch 2.0.0 plays PS2 with PS5SX2. Its default is shared memory cards and not per-game cards.
- Variable width game covers are now supported. Square and wide boxes (SNES, N64 and others) are no longer squeezed into portrait cards, and display as expected.
Fixed
- PS2 BIOS files for RetroArch go to
system/pcsx2/bios, where its PS2 cores look for them.
Good to know
- PS2 save states made with LRPS2 don't load in PS5SX2. Save in-game before upgrading RetroArch.
