skillshare v0.29.2 Release Notes
TL;DR
- Search the filter preview. The include/exclude preview on the dashboard's project, target and Extras pages has a search box, so you can find one skill in a long list and include or exclude it without scrolling.
- Audit no longer hangs on a named pipe. A FIFO or other special file inside a skill is skipped instead of leaving the audit waiting forever.
New: search the filter preview
Wherever the dashboard edits include and exclude filters, a preview lists every skill, agent or file with whether it syncs, and a click on a row includes or excludes it. With dozens of skills, finding the row meant scrolling. A search box above the preview now narrows it:
- It matches part of a name and ignores case. Agents match without
.md. - The matching text is marked, and the heading reads Preview · 3 of 24.
- Clicking a row edits the filters as before, and the search stays.
- It only narrows what is shown. The filters and the "19 of 24 skills go to …" summary still cover every row.
- Switching between Skills and Agents clears it.
The search is on a project's Skills and Agents tabs, on each target's page, and in the Extras Edit target dialog. (#798, #799)
Fixed: audit no longer hangs on a named pipe
A named pipe in a skill folder could block skillshare audit, and the audit that runs during install, while it waited for a writer that never came. Audit now reads only regular files:
- Special files, and links to them, are counted under skipped files and the scan continues.
- Auditing a special file directly returns an error.
- A file pinned by integrity checks that now resolves to a special file reports
content-tampered.
Links to ordinary files are scanned as before. (#795, #796)
Fixed: no stray scrollbar on the Skills tabs
In the Clean style, a small dark scrollbar showed at the right end of the Installed / Updates / Trash / Analyze tab bar on the Skills and Agents pages. It is gone; the tabs still scroll sideways on a narrow screen. (#799)
