Release candidate for 1.3.1, with a recorder device-registration fix and a cloud connection control since 1.3.1-rc.3.
What's changed
- Ignore broadcast, all-zero and malformed camera MAC addresses reported by recorder channel slots. Placeholder addresses no longer make multiple channels claim the same device connection, which could prevent Home Assistant from creating camera devices and entities. (#1079, fixes #1078)
- Add a Cloud Connection switch on devices that report the VSP_PaaS setting, with one switch per device. The switch also appears when a setup timeout is followed by a successful capability retry. Keep cloud credentials out of polled entity state and redact sensitive fields from configuration backups. (#1074)
Cloud Connection behavior
Turning off Cloud Connection disconnects the device from Dahua's cloud, including DMSS calls and remote viewing. This controls the whole cloud connection, rather than only notification events. The switch is only created where the device reports the supported setting; installing this release does not automatically change that setting.
Validation
All 4,665 tests passed locally on Python 3.14 with both PRs combined. Formatting passed across 318 Python files, and both PRs passed GitHub CI before merge.
