Added
- Added automatic recovery from unexpected core exits. While the app is running, a core that was successfully started or adopted is automatically restarted after an unexpected exit, with up to three attempts within five minutes. The home page shows recovery progress and failure details, and recovery can be stopped manually.
- Added local plugin installation from a plugin file for the current platform, along with a link to the plugin development guide.
- Added drag-and-drop ordering for plugin pages in the sidebar. The order is saved automatically, and plugins retain their positions when disabled and re-enabled.
Improved
- Updated the core to v8.0.32.
- Refreshing the local plugin list now also checks for updates, showing the installed version, available version, and an update action directly.
- Improved feedback after installing, enabling, or disabling plugins, distinguishing between applied changes, pending loading, required restarts, and plugins being globally disabled. Loading status is followed automatically.
- Plugin store entries now show their store source and code repository more clearly. Installing or updating unofficial plugins requires typed confirmation.
- Consolidated plugin settings in the Settings tab on the plugins page. Streamlined the home, settings, and plugins layouts, aligned search and tab navigation, and reduced redundant headings and spacing.
- API access entries now use remarks as their primary titles when available, making provider configurations easier to identify.
Fixed
- Fixed leftover rollback backups from previous core updates blocking subsequent updates. Old backups are now archived and preserved before another update proceeds.
- Fixed usage source remarks failing to match correctly when multiple API configurations share the same key.
- Fixed local plugin installation failing on file systems without hard-link support, such as FAT/exFAT, while still preventing existing plugin files from being overwritten.
Selected Previous Updates
Added
- Added sidebar entries for pages provided by enabled plugins. Open them directly in the app, with controls to go back, reload, or open in a browser.
- Added Warm Sand, Graphite, Midnight Blue, and Sakura themes. Choose separate light and dark themes and switch between them automatically with the system appearance.
- Added individual spending limit details for Codex Business accounts, including used and total credits, remaining percentage, and reset time.
- Added support for restarting the Codex CLI app-server.
- Added support for configuring VS Code Copilot.
- Added experimental context editing functionality.
Improved
- Refreshing the plugin store now queries the latest releases of public GitHub repositories directly, reducing delays caused by cached version information.
- VS Code Copilot configuration now includes all available models, with context windows and image input set according to each model's capabilities. Image input is enabled by default when input modality information is missing.
- Improved model capability detection to recognize more input modality and output limit fields, and propagate input modalities and maximum output tokens to OpenClaw configuration.
- Simplified the sidebar Appearance button's background, border, and icons to better match the surrounding controls.
- Core updates now finish downloading and extracting before stopping the running proxy, reducing downtime. If the new version fails to start, the update can roll back to the previous version.
Fixed
- Fixed signed cores on macOS failing to load native plugins.
- Fixed Codex model catalog updates potentially losing speed tiers and catalog file changes not taking effect promptly.
- Fixed inconsistent button, input, and dropdown styling in some themes, and open dropdowns not updating when switching themes.
- Fixed the app version number failing to display in the interface.
- Fixed Codex CLI restart feedback lingering or disappearing after navigating between pages.
- Strengthened symbolic link validation when writing client configuration to prevent nested configuration links from targeting structural root directories.
