What's Changed

  • A simpler Privacy tab. Both dashboards now open the Privacy tab with an overview of screen recognition, ad tracking and usage reports: what is still on under each, and one button that switches all of it off while leaving voice and LG Channels alone. Every individual setting follows under Advanced. (#229)
  • Power on from Active Standby. While a switched-off TV stays up to finish panel compensation, the web dashboard's power button reads Power on, and Home Assistant gains a Power On TV button. (#232)
  • Wake-on-LAN switch. Both dashboards can switch on LG's Mobile TV On setting, so Home Assistant or a phone can wake the TV from standby. (#233)
  • LG logo switch. On TVs whose firmware has LG's LG Logo Display setting, both dashboards can hide the LG logo shown as the TV switches on and off. The B8 (webOS 4) does not have it. (#236)
  • Read-outs that look like read-outs. States the TV dashboard only reports, such as Capture or Latest release, now show as status labels, so none of them looks like a toggle. The web dashboard's masthead is a touch smaller. (#235, #231)
