Updates now show what's new before they are installed, on the Server tab, in the TV app and in Home Assistant. Clearer messages when GitHub cannot be reached.
Details
- When an update is available, the Server tab shows a short summary of what each release since the installed one brings, newest first, with a link to its full notes. The TV app lists the same on its Updates page, and Home Assistant's update entity shows it as the release summary, in place of the start of the detailed notes. Summaries start with this release; earlier ones show none (#687).
- When GitHub is down or its limit of 60 checks an hour is reached, the update check says so plainly (#687).
- The Advanced page says Glasshouse makes effectively no difference to what Stay connected costs, and why older TVs do not offer it. The docs' webOS range reads "webOS 2.2 through 11 (LG's webOS 26)" (#683, #686).
