Added
- OLED Panel Hours & Compensation for webOS 9+ (C2/G2/C3/G4): Supports newer webOS sets where
panelUsageTimewas relocated fromsystempropertytocom.webos.service.panelcontroller/getPanelUsageTime. (#32) - Modern
pnwashPath Support: ReadsautoOffRsLastTime, autoJbLastTime, autoOffRsInterval, andautoJbIntervalon webOS 9+ alongside legacy webOS 4.x–8.x paths (autoOffRsTime, autoPnwashTime), with fallback calculations ensuring panel hours are never reported as 0. (#32) - HDMI 2.1 Driver Support: Added parser support for modern webOS HDMI 2.1 status format (
Sig:[W]x[H]@[Hz]Hz,PHY Lock[1],DeepColorMode[...]) alongside legacy webOS 4.x–8.x status (horizontal-active,connected: on). (#32) - Compatibility Summary: Added clear device and webOS compatibility callout to the top of the README.
Fixed
-
HDMI "Device seen, no signal" on webOS 9+: webOS 9+ returns
lastUniqueId: -1when no CEC device is present (webOS $\le$ 8 returned255). Corrected empty CEC ID handling and addedhdmiPlugIn/connectedchecks so disconnected HDMI ports show cleanly as empty tiles rather than reporting false signal presence. (#32) -
False
unknownState onLaunch AppSelect Entity: Removedstate_topicfrom theLaunch Appdropdown selector so it functions cleanly as a pure action launcher in Home Assistant without showingunknownwhenever external inputs (HDMI) or non-listed apps are active. TheActive Appsensor continues to track the active screen title. (#32) -
Withhold Unsupported Sensors:
gpu_clock(on sets without exposed GPU PLL) andpanel_dimming(on OLED sets with per-pixel lighting) are now withheld and purged from Home Assistant rather than displaying as permanentUnknownentities. (#32) -
Deploy Script Config Safety:
deploy.shnow detects whether/var/lib/tvweb/config.jsonalready exists on the TV and preserves it, preventing accidental overwrites of unique device IDs and topic prefixes across multi-TV setups. (#32)
