Reliability, mostly on webOS 4 TVs such as the B8
- The server no longer freezes as it starts after an update, a reboot or a wake from standby: its start-up calls to the TV are now spaced out. On a B8, 7 of 30 restarts froze before this change and none after.
- A background task that does get stuck is freed by the watchdog in seconds, instead of a two-and-a-half-minute freeze and restart.
- A TV that fails to answer once is no longer reported to Home Assistant as switched off.
- A clock that steps back no longer stops the server asking the TV anything.
Dashboard
- When the web dashboard cannot reach the TV, it now says so ("Can't reach the TV") instead of "Failed to fetch".
- Shorter update messages.
