On-TV dashboard app: fix "Nothing to show here" on all tabs (#152, reported by @schweppes-0x)
When a token was set in config.json, the on-TV dashboard app could not authenticate its API requests (it fetches from localhost and has no way to carry a token). All tabs returned empty data and displayed "Nothing to show here".
Changes
- Exempt localhost from token auth — requests from
127.0.0.1/::1now bypass the token check. This is safe: a process on the TV already has root access, so the token adds nothing locally. Remote access still requires the token. - Show actual errors — when the on-TV dashboard encounters an error, it now displays the specific error message (e.g.
bad or missing token,timeout) instead of the generic "Nothing to show here". - Fallback guidance — error screens now show the web dashboard LAN URL and suggest opening a GitHub issue with the error text.
