Adds support for the Home button on webOS 3–5 TVs, adds the 43UH610V-ZB to the tested hardware table, and documents older LCD platform capabilities.
Fixed
- Home button on webOS 3–5: On webOS 6+ (2021+), Home is a standalone app (
com.webos.app.home). On webOS 3–5 (2016–2020), Home is an integrated system UI component (superRibboninsurface-manager). When launchingcom.webos.app.homereturns not found, the server now falls back to injectingKEY_LEFTMETA(125) with a 100ms press/release hold delay into the RCU input device, satisfying Qt'slongPressTimerand reliably toggling the Home launcher ribbon on older sets. Documentation
- Tested hardware: Added the 43UH610V-ZB (webOS 3.4.3, firmware 05.70.50, LCD) to the Tested TVs table in README.md, bringing verified hardware count to 13 models. (#146, #149)
- Architecture reference: Documented the Home launcher mechanism across webOS generations and the design rationale for why 2016 LCD platforms lack SoC temperature, eMMC lifetime, and OLED Care metrics in
docs/IMPLEMENTATION.md. (#146, #149)
