Energy saving from the dashboard and Home Assistant, and settings that update as the TV changes them.
Added
- Energy saving step. Auto, Off, Minimum, Medium, Maximum or Screen off, from the Control tab's Picture group and from a Home Assistant select. The TV's own confirmation prompt is answered for you. (#119 by @dfrommi, #121)
- Live state. Picture settings are pushed to their own retained topics as the TV changes them, rather than waiting for the next telemetry publish. (#119 by @dfrommi)
Changed
- The Server tab checks for a release when it is opened. Check now stays, for looking again sooner: an attempt under two minutes old stands, so switching between tabs neither spends GitHub's hourly allowance nor retries a TV with no internet. (#121)
- The tab strip shows that it scrolls. With eight tabs the row runs off the edge on a narrow window, so an arrow now sits on whichever side has more, and selecting a tab scrolls it into view. (#121)
- The entity count is gone from the README. It was written there four times and said nothing a reader needed. The check that policed it now compares the Home Assistant reference against the entities the code publishes, in both directions. (#121)
Fixed
- A TV that cannot reach the internet is told so. A name that does not resolve, a connection nothing answers or a timeout ends the search and reports that the TV could not reach GitHub, instead of spending a minute and then advising a newer curl. (#121)
- Two entities were documented wrongly:
cpu_loadunder its old id, andmac_addressnot at all. (#121)
Under the hood, the screen saver and telemetry code moved into server/lib alongside the rest, with an offline test suite and a type check over it. (#118, #120)
