Lets TVs that installed the Glasshouse app update from the dashboard, gives Glasshouse Home a wallpaper picker that shows the day, fixes the Home tab's orange dot, and lets Glasshouse Home open on TVs that are slow to load it after a reboot.
Details
- TVs where the Glasshouse app was installed from its
.ipkcan now update from the dashboard, the update pop-up and Home Assistant, instead of being sent to the Homebrew Channel, which does not list Glasshouse yet. Install puts the new release's package in place and the server restarts on it with its settings kept; the Glasshouse app closes while that happens. TVs on 0.121.0 or earlier need this release's.ipkinstalled by hand once. Thanks to @Nutcasey (#1020). - Wallpapers on the Home tab: a picture for each time of day, shown on a strip of the day with the current one marked, and each one can be replaced or removed on its own (#1015).
- The Home tab's status dot stays green when LG's Home is opened on purpose, from its tile or by holding Home. It turns orange only when Glasshouse Home is switched on but doesn't have LG's Home's place, or when switching it off was left unfinished (#1016).
- Glasshouse Home opens on the first Home press after a reboot on TVs that take a while to load it, such as a CX on webOS 5.6.2 (up to 13 s). While the TV's web app manager is running, a press gets 20 s before LG's Home opens instead. Thanks to @jmeier5261 for the report (#1017).
