Adds search, smooth Magic Remote scrolling and new display switches to Glasshouse Home, brings it to webOS 7, adds an Audio tab, Russian and Hungarian, a Hue Sync switch and a 12-hour clock, and gathers everything about the Home screen onto the Home tab.
Details
- Glasshouse Home search: films and series on the TV's apps, from LG's search, opened in the app at the title. It is off until switched on, and hidden while the ad blocker blocks LG's search. Thanks to @Nutcasey (#921).
- Glasshouse Home scrolling: rows glide under the Magic Remote's pointer, the wheel moves a tile a notch, and the keys carry on from what is in view. Thanks to @danzig666 (#916).
- Glasshouse Home switches for Last watched, App count and CEC addresses, each on until switched off. Thanks to @Nutcasey (#984).
- Glasshouse Home on webOS 7. Thanks to @YashwanthKamireddi (#933).
- Glasshouse Home opens at power-on in more cases: with Quick Start+ on where the TV stays on its input (thanks to @arquiguru, #928), and where the TV reports LG's Home in front after a cold start, as a QNED on webOS 11.1 does (thanks to @Tortoc, #996).
- Glasshouse Home opens after a Home press even when the TV's web app manager has stopped, and LG's Home opens if it still does not. Thanks to @jgreys (#943).
- The Home tab holds everything about the Home screen: Open Home at power-on (moved from Advanced), LG's Home screen layout and Hide home screen system apps (moved from Apps), under one Home customisation section. TVs without Glasshouse Home, such as webOS 4 models, now have the Home tab for these. The experimental note sits by Glasshouse Home's switch and says how to get back to LG's Home (#1002, #1006, #1008, #1010).
- Audio tab: LG's sound settings with each input's audio format, and the formats the TV and a soundbar or receiver on HDMI ARC or eARC say they support. Thanks to @Nutcasey (#954).
- Clocks follow the TV's own 12 or 24 hour setting, with a 12-hour clock switch under Advanced → Display (#968, #1000).
- Hue Sync: a switch for the Hue Sync app's ambient light stream, where the app is installed. Thanks to @marcgd (#941).
- Russian, thanks to @AlexShum22 (#951, #1003), and Hungarian, thanks to @danzig666 (#959), for the dashboards, the TV app and Glasshouse Home.
- Home Assistant shows the TV's screen and power correctly after the server starts while the TV is in standby. Thanks to @SokolskyNikita (#952).
- The TV app's two-column layout works on webOS 2 again (#897).
- OLED65B6D-Z (webOS 3.4.3) added to the tested TVs. Thanks to @githubmath (#1009, #1013).
