Glasshouse Home starts smoothly without LG's Home showing, supports custom colours, Recent apps, and centered layouts. The web dashboard adds global search and pinned shortcuts, and remote keys offer media playback controls.
Details
• Glasshouse Home: on TVs with Quick Start+ off or waking from standby, LG's stock Home screen no longer flashes before Glasshouse Home opens. An input or app selected during startup stays in front (#888).
• Glasshouse Home: the Back key opens Recent apps (#883).
• Glasshouse Home: six colour presets and custom text and accent pickers allow personalized styling, and focus rings match the chosen accent (#885).
• Glasshouse Home: rows with no content are omitted, and remaining rows are vertically centered below the clock (#884). Thanks to @Nutcasey for the Glasshouse Home enhancements (#883, #884, #885, #888, #890, #892).
• Web dashboard search: a global search dialog (/ or Ctrl/Cmd+K) indexes tabs, settings, actions, and logs, and destinations can be pinned to the navigation bar. Thanks to @isbsodb-isbs (#858).
• Remote keys: an optional media controls layout maps playback controls (Play, Pause, Rewind, Fast Forward) to the D-pad. Thanks to @danzig666 (#881).
• TV emulator: a local emulator (npm run emulate) simulates webOS environments for testing and previewing dashboards without physical TV hardware (#886, #890).
• Tested hardware: added test report for the OLED55C61LA (thanks to @Caligulapl for testing in #876, #893) and hardware specifications for the C9 (#892).
