A smoother Glasshouse Home.
Details
- Glasshouse Home now takes the place of LG's Home itself (experimental, webOS 9), so the TV opens it directly for the Home button, Back out of an app and waking up. LG's Home no longer flashes up first, and none of the TV's settings are changed. The LG Home tile and holding Home still reach LG's Home.
- New Notifications and Search tiles reach LG's notification list and search, which were only on LG's Home.
- An optional Hide LG's Home while the TV starts setting, off by default, also keeps LG's Home from showing in the first seconds after a cold start. Its description explains the trade-off.
- TVs that used Glasshouse Home before have their settings put back and the old app removed automatically. Thanks to @Nutcasey (#829).
