This is a major feature-focused update for ViveStream, transforming it from a simple downloader into a powerful media library. We've overhauled the download system and introduced long-awaited features like Favorites and full Playlist management.

🚀 New Features

• Advanced Playlist & Parallel Downloading

  • You can now paste a full YouTube playlist URL into the download form.
  • ViveStream intelligently scans the playlist, identifies videos you already have, and queues the new ones for download.
  • Enjoy parallel downloading! The number of concurrent downloads (1-5) can be configured in the new Settings page.
  • The Downloads page now features a detailed queue, showing the thumbnail, title, uploader, and real-time progress for each item, including download speed and ETA.

• ⭐ Favorites System

  • Mark any video in your library as a favorite with a single click on the heart icon.
  • A dedicated Favorites page in the sidebar now gathers all your favorited videos for quick access.
  • The heart icon in the main video player is fully functional and syncs with your library.

• 🎵 Full Playlist Management

  • Create, rename, and delete custom video playlists from the brand new Playlists page.
  • Easily save any video from your library to one or more playlists using the new "Save" button and modal. You can even create a new playlist on the fly from the save modal.

✨ Enhancements & Improvements

• Revamped Player Experience

  • Video Descriptions: The player page now includes an expandable description box, filling out the UI and giving you more context about the video you're watching.
  • Smarter 'Up Next' Queue: The queue logic has been completely rewritten. It now creates a shuffled playlist of your entire library when you start playing, ensuring you don't hear the same video twice until everything has been played once. The "Up Next" panel accurately reflects this queue.
  • The Up Next panel is now properly scrollable, preventing layout issues.

• UI & UX Polish

  • Active sidebar tabs now pop with the signature ViveStream red color for better visibility.
  • Added sleek, auto-closing notifications for download completions and errors.
  • The video quality dropdown on the Downloads page now defaults to 1080p and includes options up to 4K.

🐞 Bug Fixes

• Fixed a critical issue where the entire UI could become unresponsive after certain actions due to an invisible overlay blocking mouse events.
• Resolved a bug where autoplay would fail to automatically start the next video in the queue.
• Corrected the layout of Theater Mode, which was previously resizing the video player to an incorrect, small height.
• Thumbnails for newly downloading videos in a playlist now display correctly in the download queue.
• The favorited (solid heart) icon color is now correctly displayed as red.
