Save Sync
Continuing prior save sync fixes, this release closes remaining gaps in the resolution flow and adds more visibility and control over your saves:
- Pre-launch sync against RomM 4.9 now uses the server's per-device sync state, cutting down on the spurious conflict prompts users hit in 1.9.1.
- Restoring an older save from the save manager is respected by sync — the next launch won't replace it with a newer server version. The pin clears when your next play session uploads a save, or when you make a different manual selection.
- Saves uploaded before slot support are now visible in the save manager under Archived. Restore one and use Save As to promote it into the active slot for cross-device sync.
Paired with an upcoming RomM server-side update, the sync flow should be substantially more stable going forward.
Improvements
- Cross-emulator save migration restored: switching a game between built-in and external PPSSPP (or equivalents on other platforms) carries the latest save over on the next launch (regression from the 1.9 line)
- PSP built-in core downloads fonts and helper assets on first launch so in-game menu text renders (#221)
Bug Fixes
- Quit menu's Quit option no longer cut off on small / 4:3 screens (#222)
- Pokemon Mini ROMs from RomM now appear in the library
- DS mode: Unhide Game actually unhides
- DS mode: Hidden games filter activates on a single press
- DS mode: Game info cover and library grid respect the custom aspect ratio
- DS mode: Custom wallpaper renders on the home screen
- DS mode: Already-installed Steam games launch instead of re-queuing a download
- Android apps use the launcher icon as cover when added to home
