Added
- New "Show windows from" choice in Behavior settings: All Spaces, Current Space, or Visible Spaces. Visible Spaces is made for multiple monitors — it lists what's on screen across all your displays and hides windows parked on background desktops. (#57)
- Every shortcut that opens the switcher can now have its own options — layout, sorting, filters, colors and more — independent of the global settings, and you can add as many custom (scoped) shortcuts as you like. (#74)
- New option to keep the switcher open after you release the modifier key: browse at your own pace, confirm with Return or a click, dismiss with Esc.
- Hold Shift to keep stepping backwards through the list, plus a setting to turn the tap-Shift reverse step off. (#45)
- Showing browser tabs as separate rows got smarter: an experimental most-recently-used tab order, and a clear hint when Safari/Chrome need automation permission. (#39)
- New Appearance controls: choose how window titles are aligned in previews and whether the selected name is bold.
- Prefer keyboard only? You can now turn off selecting with mouse hover and mouse click.
Changed
- The switcher opens on the monitor you're actively working on, not always the main one.
- The "Most recent (windows)" sort order left Experimental — it mixes windows of all apps by when you last used them.
- Settings were tidied up: the Switcher tab is now called Behavior, with related options grouped together.
Fixed
- Shortcuts like ⌘W and ⌘Q no longer stop working after a while (typically after typing in password fields). (#16, #38)
- ⌘Tab brings you back to the window you last used in an app, not a random one. (#84)
- Switching into a browser lands on the tab you actually had open, not the first tab in the window. (#39)
- Picking a window raises it reliably, even when it had gone stale in the background — and the app retries once if another app steals focus mid-switch.
- The switcher no longer closes on its own while you're still holding ⌘ and no longer force-closes after sitting idle. (#76)
- Invisible helper windows of apps like Teams or Signal no longer appear as duplicate rows.
- Apps with native tabs (e.g. CotEditor) no longer show a bogus row with wrong thumbnails for every background tab, and "show tabs as separate entries" works again. (#81)
- Window previews show the saved image instead of briefly flashing the app icon.
- The switcher panel keeps showing up on every desktop even after displays or Spaces get rearranged.
- Mouse wheels with smooth scrolling now step through the list correctly.
- Opening the switcher requires the exact shortcut — extra held keys don't trigger it, and Esc isn't swallowed when nothing is switching.
- Long window titles are trimmed more gracefully in previews.
