Highlights
Per-app quick-jump letters, a configurable selection color, per-app window title exclusions and Russian, plus a thumbnail capture change aimed at the crash with DRM video.
Added
- Assign a fixed quick-jump letter to any app, or skip an app from letter hints so its letter frees up for another app. (#181)
- Appearance › Panel › Selection color tints the selected item in every layout, following the macOS accent or a preset or custom color. (#185)
- App exception rules can hide windows whose title contains given text, while the app and its other windows stay in the switcher. (#176)
- Russian localization.
Changed
- The List layout's selection is a neutral grey by default. Pick a selection color to tint it again.
Fixed
- Switching apps gives the target window keyboard focus again, including windowless apps with Applications Only on. (#180)
- On macOS 14 and later, window thumbnails are captured only through ScreenCaptureKit. A window it cannot capture, such as DRM video, shows its app icon instead of going through the older capture path suspected in the crash with Netflix or Disney+ video. (#199)
- Background native tabs no longer show up as separate windows when the switcher is limited to the current Space.
- A background tab whose size differs by a point from the front tab is folded into its window again.
- The macOS 27 menu bar no longer appears as a switcher row.
- The Automation permission prompt is shown in the app's language instead of always in English.
