⚠️ This is a test version and is meant for the Prater (Goerli) test network only. DO NOT run this on Mainnet! ⚠️
This is a minor upgrade to v1.9.0 Release Candidate 2. It includes a few small fixes and UX updates based on beta tester feedback, the final round of client updates with Shapella compatibility on mainnet, and compatibility with an important contract upgrade.
❗ NOTE for Prater (Goerli) users: once you've updated to RC3, please upgrade your minipool delegates with rocketpool minipool delegate-upgrade
- rewards distributions will fail until you do this for all of your minipools!
Client Updates
- Updated Nethermind to v1.17.3.
- Updated Lighthouse to v4.0.1.
- Updated Lodestar to v1.7.0.
- Updated Prysm to v4.0.0.
- Updated Teku to v23.3.1.
Smartnode Changes
-
The
node
process now has a new automatic duty: automatic minipool rewards distribution!- Once a minipool's balance has reached a certain threshold, the node will automatically distribute the balance (giving you and the staking pool your share of its rewards).
- This threshold is configurable in the config TUI under the Smartnode and TX Fees section as a new setting called
Auto-Distribute Threshold
. - The default threshold is 1 ETH.
-
The threshold for bond reduction scrubbing has been changed from 31.999 ETH to 31.99 ETH.
- This will give node operators more breathing room if their node temporarily goes offline during a bond reduction.
- As long as your validator's balance on the Beacon Chain stays above 31.99 ETH, your reduction should pass the scrub check.
-
rocketpool minipool close
has gone through several UX improvements based on community feedback. -
rocketpool minipool begin-bond-reduction
now alerts you about minipools that had previous bond reduction attempts scrubbed by the Oracle DAO, and are thus no longer eligible for bond reduction.
Bug Fixes
-
rocketpool node claim-rewards
now shows the proper collateral percentages when restaking RPL. -
Fixed a bug that prevented Snapshot voting status from loading properly.
