⚠️ This is a test version and is meant for the Prater (Goerli) and Zhejiang test networks only. DO NOT run this on Mainnet! ⚠️

This is a minor upgrade to v1.9.0 Release Candidate 1. It includes many fixes and UX updates based on beta tester feedback.

Client Updates

• Updated Besu to v23.1.2.
• Updated Geth to v1.11.5.
• Updated Lighthouse to v4.0.0.
• Updated Lodestar to v1.6.0.
  • ✔️ Lodestar should now work properly with all Smartnode functions.
• Updated Nimbus to v23.3.2.
• Updated MEV-Boost to v1.5.0.

Smartnode Changes

• Support for the Zhejiang testnet has been removed now that Shapella and Atlas have been deployed to Goerli / Prater.

• Added the Aestus relay to the MEV-Boost relays. This is an uncensored relay that allows all MEV types.

  • Profile mode users that have the "Unregulated (All MEV Types)" profile will begin using it automatically.

• rocketpool minipool exit now requires you to type "I agree" instead of simply entering "y" for added safety. Thanks @0xfornax!

• Grafana dashboard v1.2.0-RC1 has been updated to v1.2.0-RC2.

  • it now has support for a secondary SSD on the disk usage panel, shows SSD temperature(s), and has SSD I/O times for the second drive.

• The borrowable amount of ETH in rocketpool node status has been removed; it now shows how many 8-ETH and 16-ETH minipools can be created instead.

• rocketpool node status will now display your percent of borrowed ETH in red and display a warning message if you're below 10% collateral.

• rocketpool minipool status will now hide finalized minipools by default; to show them, use the -f flag when running the command.

Bug Fixes

• rocketpool minipool begin-bond-reduction and rocketpool minipool close now require your node's fee distributor to be initialized before proceeding.

• Reduced the batch size of effective network RPL stake so Besu can run it properly.

• Added some safety checks to the metrics collectors to simply do nothing if state generation fails.

• Improved usability, help text, and verbiage of several commands.

• rocketpool minipool begin-bond-reduction now ignores finalized minipools.

• The gas estimate screen will now verify your node has enough ETH to perform a transaction before sending it.

• rocketpool node deposit will now only show a warning about being unable to use your credit balance due to insufficient ETH in the deposit pool if you have a credit balance.
