- A break that is written again no longer sees its own earlier words as something the station said. Rewriting a news or weather break could hand the model its previous attempt, so the record that attempt named (one that had since left the running order) came back in the new words. A bulletin is also no longer asked to hand back to "the record coming up" when it was given none, which pushed a model to borrow a record from earlier breaks.
- A news, weather or welcome break written by the model is now refused when it hands over to a record it was not given, such as one an earlier break named. The station's check on "coming up next" only knew which record a break was shown, so a break that named a different one went to air. A record counts as named only when both its title and its artist are said, and a record the bulletin's own stories are about is never refused.
