- A programme booked on the format clock is commissioned once. The time a clock band next falls due used to carry the milliseconds of the moment it was asked, so every pass of the station's scheduler saw the same slot as a new one and could commission the same phone-in or podcast again, as often as every pass for the three hours before it aired.
- The eighties persona seed is now a valley girl, Tiffani, in place of the bright video-age jock. She talks in uptalk, loves whatever the station plays because it is on the radio, and cannot understand the music nobody plays. A station that already has the old jock keeps him: seeds are only written to an empty station, and "Restore built-ins" adds missing ones without overwriting.
- A title, artist or album the model wrote in markdown italics or bold (
*Electric Eye*) now keeps its words and loses only the asterisks. Every*...*run used to be deleted as a stage direction, which aired breaks with a hole where the record's name had been and refused others for naming neither record they were shown. A run that reads as a stage direction (*laughs*,*sighs*) is still dropped. - The valley girl seed is revised after her first audition. She uses "like" as a discourse marker (the filler, "I was like", and "like, four of them"), her uptalk is a statement going up rather than a question tacked onto the end, and her disgust slang is no longer spent as praise. She now stays loyal to a record on air that sounds like the music she cannot stand, and she no longer jokes about a death.
