- A weather forecast and a news bulletin now say what they are on the stream itself:
Your Station - Weather in Brooklynrather than the station's name alone, on a car screen, a hardware radio and the
listener apps alike. Talk breaks, idents and anything you add keep showing the station's name, since
nothing can tell from a label alone whether it was written for a listener or for the person running
the station — the break's own writer decides, and only the ones that produce a listener-facing line
offer one. - Disliking something now reaches the show that is already on air. Until now a dislike was applied
where a running order is BUILT — when the station draws records, and when a playlist is put on air —
so an order that had already been decided went on playing what you had just forbidden, sometimes for
hours. Rating an artist, a record or a songdislikedtakes every record it forbids out of the
running order straight away, and if one of them is what is playing, it is cut where it stands rather
than allowed to finish. A break that had promised one of the departed records is rewritten while
there is still time, and the station tops the order back up to make up the gap. Nothing changes about
a like, which has always been a weighting on the next draw rather than an instruction.
