Compositor now runs on macOS 26.0 and later, on Macs with Apple silicon.
Font previews: the font menu shows each font in its own typeface, and while you're editing text, hovering a font previews it on the canvas.
Snapping: the rectangle and ellipse Marquee, the Shape tool, and moving a selection now snap to guides, the grid, layer edges and the canvas edges (View › Snap To). Hold Control to move freely.
View › Grid Settings…: choose the grid's color, style, opacity, spacing and subdivisions.
Export JPEG has a zoomable preview (Fit and zoom buttons, or ⌘+, ⌘−, ⌘0 and ⌘1) for judging compression up close, and a tidier layout. Its background color, and Canvas Size's custom color, now use Compositor's own color picker.
Fixes: ⌘Z while typing in a text box takes back what you typed; import errors no longer show two OK buttons.
