It's been a long time coming, but the final release of the Polybar project is here.
This marks the end of development for this project, but addendums are planned to add new features using the rails (ex. guitar strap points).
Changelog
With the final overhaul, there are a lot of changes. In no particular order, they are listed below:
-New PCBs for internal electronics and wiring. Gone are the internal "boards" and hand-wired rat nests, you can now order your own PCBs that make soldering and assembly much easier.
-Support for Kailh Choc or MX Cherry fret boards, fret and body shell models are universal - one size fits all!
-Strum PCBs require the KB2040 micro controller. Much faster performance and reliability than Pro Micro clones.
-Addressable RGB LED support for fret switches and strum switches! Colors and bindings are customizable via Sanjay900's Guitar Configurator Tool
-Assembly now uses Kailh Choc/MX Cherry hotswap sockets, allowing for Kailh Box Navy strum switches, as well as an updated Xbox/PS4 style joystick, and optional tilt switches!
-And much more!
