What's changed
Requires Home Assistant 2026.5.2 or newer.
- Configurable price block searches: create named searches for the lowest or highest prices today, tomorrow, or within a chosen time window, including overnight windows. Choose spot, buy, or sell prices and durations compatible with hourly or 15-minute data. Manage searches individually on the integration page. (#192)
- Automatic migration: existing cheapest-block settings are converted into Today and Tomorrow searches, preserving the released N-hour sensor identities for existing automations. No manual migration is required. (#192)
- Independent intervals: optionally select separate lowest- or highest-priced intervals totaling the requested duration. A one-hour search with 15-minute prices selects four intervals. Sensors turn off in gaps and expose the selected times in the
Intervalsattribute. Existing searches remain continuous. (#200) - Template-time warnings: saving a price template that calls
now()orutcnow()offers a warning with options to edit or save anyway. Useas_local(hour)for electricity delivery times oras_local(day)for gas delivery dates. (#201) - Long-term price statistics: current electricity and gas price sensors now support Home Assistant long-term statistics. Statistics accumulate after upgrading; existing history is not backfilled. (#194)
- Exchange-rate reliability: persist CNB exchange rates across restarts, parse rates directly as Decimal, and fix execution of scheduled FX retries. (#191, #193, #195)
- Price-window reliability: respect exact search boundaries and retain the latest complete window when a newer candidate has missing intervals. Search changes avoid refetching OTE/CNB data, rapid changes are serialized, and templates cannot be removed while searches depend on them. (#192, #195)
- Gas-price handling: ignore unpublished zero-value gas placeholders, including values restored from persisted data. (#192)
