green-nx 1.0.20 — accounts + debug HUD

Two community features, both from @luishidalgoa.

Multiple accounts on one console

A Switch usually gets shared, but the app could only hold one sign-in: for a second person to play, the first had to sign out and redo the device-code flow, losing their library, favorites and linked consoles along the way.

Each account now keeps its own sign-in, library, consoles, favorites and history. Settings → Accounts lists everyone on the console plus Add account; A switches or adds, B goes back. Sign out removes that account and hands over to another if one remains.

Console-wide things stay console-wide on purpose: quality, pacing, sharpness, volume and the box-art cache are shared, so switching accounts keeps your preferences and never re-downloads covers.

Existing installs are migrated on first launch. Your current sign-in becomes the first account, nothing is re-downloaded, and startup still goes straight into it with no picker in the way.

One thing to know: sign-in tokens live in plain files on the SD card, as they always have. With several accounts on one console, anyone holding that card holds everyone's Xbox sign-in. Treat the card accordingly.

Debug HUD

Settings → Debug HUD draws a small overlay in the top-left while streaming: resolution, FPS, bitrate, packet loss and audio buffer depth. Useful when you want to know whether a rough moment was the stream or the game.

Off by default. Because deko3d owns the display during streaming, it is drawn as a second GPU pass with the text rasterized on the CPU, so it costs essentially nothing when it is off and very little when it is on.

Also

  • The HUD's bitrate counter is cleared between streams, so a second session in the same run no longer opens with one nonsense reading.

Install

Copy green-nx.nro to sdmc:/switch/ (overwrite the old one) and relaunch.
