What's Changed

Windows support, as an experimental preview.
moshi-hooknow runs natively on Windows (x64 and arm64) with Herdr as the terminal multiplexer — no WSL required. Install it from PowerShell without elevation:powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -c "irm https://getmoshi.app/install.ps1 | iex"
The installer verifies the published ZIP against the release checksums, keeps each version in its own per-user directory with the three newest retained, and puts a stable path on your user
PATH.moshi-hook service installregisters a logon startup entry, andmoshi-hook updatereplaces the running binary in place.Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Grok Build, OMP, and Pi were validated on Windows:
/newhands the pane to the replacement session, transcripts follow it, and stopping a turn from Chat View reaches the live agent. Kimi, Qwen, Cursor Agent, the Antigravity CLI, and Gemini CLI install their hooks but are not validated natively yet.The preview binaries are unsigned, so SmartScreen may ask you to choose More info → Run anyway. tmux and Zellij do not run natively on Windows, and stopping an arbitrary dev-server process gracefully is unavailable there. WSL2 remains the fully supported layout — see
docs/windows.mdfor the complete boundary. -
Hermes chat transcripts no longer need a separate
sqlite3install: Chat View reads them through a bundled read-only SQLite driver. -
Claude interruptions are no longer resurrected as pending approvals after the host reconnects.

OpenCode now transfers pane ownership when you start a new session, so the replacement session shows up in the right pane.
