🚀 Native AOT Build Now Available
FlyPhotos now has a lightning fast Native AOT version!
A lot of code has been redone and dependent libraries changed for AOT compatibility.
All this had to be done just to shave of a few hundred milliseconds at startup.
Unlike standard .NET builds, some issues might only appear at runtime, so please report anything odd you notice.
✨ What's New
- Instant Startup⚡⚡ – especially noticeable if you disable Zoom on startup.
- Image Smoothing Toggle – disable smoothing to view pixel art and sharp edges exactly as they are.
Note: Being a new Native AOT build, it may be unstable until all bugs are ironed out.
📥 How to Install
- Uninstall your existing FlyPhotos version.
- Delete the following if present (not a requirement - just to cleanup wastes from previous architecture):
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\FlyPhotos\<random folders> C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\FlyPhotosCache.db - Install the new release:
