Zoom Animation on File Open & App Exit
A new zoom-in/zoom-out animation is available when opening a file and when exiting the application.
By default, this feature is off - you can enable it in Settings.
Performance Note:
Enabling Zoom on File Open may slow down opening times for very large images or camera RAW files.
When this option is enabled, during startup the app waits for a high-quality preview to be generated before zooming.
Large files (e.g., RAW, PSD, HEIC and even some JPEGs) often have embedded thumbnails that can be read instantly for quick startup (without reading the full file), but zooming into these low-quality previews is not aesthetically pleasing. When zoom on startup is off, app uses these low quality previews to display the photo-window asap.
If you prioritize fast startup and often work with high-megapixel images, keep this setting disabled.
