- Customize settings tab: Appearance and Reader settings are now one Customize tab with a Theme section. Highlight options sit inside Typography, and the live preview expands to show the current segment and word. Info tips open on hover and can be pinned open on touch (PR #205).
- Voices panel: Skip when reading aloud (citations, bracketed text and PDF block kinds) now lives in the voices panel, for app settings and per-book overrides. The PDF block overlay is a PDF Layout switch in reader settings (PR #207).
- Long voice lists: Voice lists fold after a few rows behind Show more and Show fewer. Searching or filtering by favorites shows the full list, and the list opens with the selected voice in view (PR #207).
- Reset buttons: Every overridden setting has the same reset button beside its label (PR #207).
🐛 Fixed
- PDFs with a text-free cover: A PDF whose first page has no text no longer stays on "Opening document" when it has no saved position. Playback starts at the first readable passage (closes #204). Thanks to @benginN for reporting this.
- Desktop on Linux: The desktop app now opens on Linux systems without
libfuse2orlibatomic. The AppImage uses a static runtime, and the window stays hidden until the library is ready instead of showing a separate loading page (PR #206). - Reader sidebar focus: Closing a reader sidebar returns focus to the button that opened it only when focus was inside that sidebar (PR #207).
