What's New
Fix: spex-detach stealth mode now actually hides spec artifacts
- Selecting
spex-detachduring setup previously enabled the extension but never wrote its git exclude entries, so spec files, the project declaration and the constitution could still reach an upstreamgit add -A. Setup now writes those entries and verifies each configured path is ignored, reporting any that are still visible. - A refresh keeps your detach configuration (archive path, custom excludes, auto-commit) byte-identical instead of resetting it, and repairs projects set up before this fix.
Fix: generated permission rules no longer trigger Claude Code warnings
- New projects write bare tool names (
Bash,Read,Edit,Write) instead of theRead(*)/Edit(*)/Write(*)forms that current Claude Code releases flag. - Every init path (interactive, workflow setup,
--refresh,--update) migrates existing legacy rules to the bare form and reports each change as aMigrated:line.
Fix: setup failures now show the underlying error
- When a setup step fails,
spex-setup-report.shsurfaces the failed step's stdout as well as its stderr. A failedspecify init(whose error prints to stdout) now shows its realError:line instead of only the generic"Shell command exited with code 1."
