Tisty 1.38.0

Clearer tasks, real tables and diagrams you draw by hand

Tasks that say how urgent they are

  • A task is overdue only once its deadline passes. If the day you planned slipped by, it is late, in amber; if it has started and still has time, it is underway.
  • Today puts the most urgent first: Overdue, Due soon, Late, For today and Underway, folded so a long project does not fill the list. Each row says when it is due.
  • A task with a date, a deadline and parts shows a thin bar comparing the time gone with the parts closed: on track, running slow or won't make it.
  • A task's row says when an agent wrote it, and names it when you hover over it.

Tables you work on right on the page

  • Click a cell and type. Move, duplicate or remove rows and columns, drag them, and sort and filter without touching the file.
  • Give a column a type, such as a date, money, options, stars, a switch or a document, and each cell is written the way it asks. Numbers add up at the foot.
  • Rows copied from Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets, or a CSV, come in as a table.

A window for your diagrams

  • Double-click a diagram and it opens in its own window, the drawing beside its text, changing live.
  • Mind maps, database schemas, flowcharts and class diagrams are drawn by hand with the mouse, and a schema copies as SQL or DBML.
  • Start from an example, reuse a diagram from another document, and export it as PNG, JPG or SVG or copy it as an image.

Also in this version

  • A connected assistant changes a table by its rows and columns, and every tool tells its app whether it only reads or writes, so it can ask you first.
  • A task unfolds its parts in any view, and a table wider than the page scrolls sideways without breaking words.

What's Changed

  • feat(markdown): tables are edited through one core logic that keeps their escapes, widths and line ends by @rgdevment in #450
  • feat(core): a task is overdue only past its deadline; a missed day is late, and a started one is underway by @rgdevment in #453
  • fix(app): a task unfolds its parts in any view, and the ones the view leaves out wait folded until asked by @rgdevment in #452
  • feat(app): a table on the page is written in place, with rows, columns, sorting and filters shown on screen by @rgdevment in #454

  • docs: the readmes carry the M8ven Trust Index badge, which proves the listing is ours by @rgdevment in #464

  • docs: the M8ven badge is the line M8ven issued, and the MCP Registry is named rather than linked by @rgdevment in #466
  • feat(app): today groups by urgency with underway folded, rows say when it is due, and the pulse counts late apart by @rgdevment in #455
  • feat(app): a typed cell is written as its type asks: calendar, options, stars, a switch and a document finder by @rgdevment in #458

  • feat(app): a row and the side panel say a task is by an agent and name it on hover, the full page names it by @rgdevment in #469
  • feat(app): the text editor moves, sorts and retypes a table through the core, and pastes spreadsheet rows as one by @rgdevment in #467

  • feat(app): a diagram from another document is reused as a copy, and the floating bar carries a Diagram button by @rgdevment in #474
  • docs: the 1.38.0 news, guide and help tell overdue, late and underway the pace bar, agent rows and typed tables by @rgdevment in #475
