Tisty 1.17.0

Nothing to migrate: the log stays on schema 14. What this build writes carries
two things a 1.16 reads past without complaint — the client's name on an
event, and a line saying which machine hosts an agent — so you can update one
machine before the other. The first opening rebuilds the read cache once and
is as quick as any other after that.

What an assistant writes is signed with the program it spoke through

«by canelo 39» named a device — a tree and a number — and told you nothing:
not which program wrote, not on which machine, and every assistant on one
machine writes under the same name. Now the assistant's client introduces
itself when it connects, and Tisty keeps that name on everything the session
writes: the row, the detail, the stamps, the journal and the spoken label say
«by Claude Code», «by Codex». What was written before clients had names reads
«by an assistant». The tree nickname names machines from here on, and one
thing more: Settings › Assistants says at last what it is — «this machine's
agent signs the log as canelo 39».

The name is a label and nothing else. No rule reads it, so a client that
gives a wrong one, or none, can only be mislabelled — never let through a door
the person did not open. What a client calls itself is not always what you
wired it under — Codex greets as «codex-mcp-client», VS Code as «Visual
Studio Code» — and Tisty knows the ones it can wire, so Settings counts what
each hand wrote on its own row, wired or not, and gathers the unnamed under
one. A machine that only receives the log by Sync reads the same table. A
second client told a task is done is told which hand already said so, by that
name, and «you» only when it was the same one.

Where an agent lives is said once

An agent joined the log as itself and never said on which machine; now it
does, and the detail's signature says «from this machine» or names the other
one the way Sync does. The line is written by the window on the first opening
and undo walks past it, as it does past every note that changes nothing of
yours.

Smaller

A copy the Store keeps that asked the Store and heard nothing waits its turn
before asking again, instead of every few hours. The log keeps the name each
client introduced itself by, so one Tisty does not know yet can be read there.
